Scripture Memory Verses
Romans 12:5

...so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

This technique uses images. Look at the picture and follow along:

First we want to remember the Scripture reference, Romans 12:5. There is a picture of a Roman soldier, with a Roman numeral 12 (XII) on his chest. Remember the "X". This soldier is hungry, so he's going to have some honey, and he has broken off a branch with a bee hive and some bees. Look at the picture and say the reference, "Romans 12:5".

The next image is a needle and thread, sewing the letter "X". Since "X" is sometimes used as an abreviation for "Christ", this suggests the first part of the verse, "so in Christ".

Remember the Whos in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"? Well this is Cindy Lou Who, (who was no more than two), a "wee Who", or "we who".

The next image is simply many "R"s, forming a number 1, with a head and arms, giving "are (R) many form one (1) body"

Now we have the word "members" interlocked like a crossword puzzle. This might be enough for "and each member belongs to all the others."
But if you need a little more help, just remember "and each member bee-longs..." (that's a "long bee")
to all the - what is that, a cow? and cows have udders? - yes, "to all the udders (others)."

Now look at the pictures and say the verse while you are looking at them. Do this for a couple of days, and you'll remember this verse!
