W.IN.G.S. is a ministry for women, dedicated to connecting the women of this church and the surrounding community.

Our goals are:

  • To build and grow relationships within the sisterhood by serving and supporting the needs of others.
  • To encourage one another.
  • To share our faith.
  • To put God first.
  • To wear love everywhere we go.

Speaker Louan Schubert

Louan Schubert has a passion for teaching the Word of God and bringing His presences and wisdom to others. She has led bible studies, prayer meetings, and spoke publicly for more than 20 years. Her passion for Jesus is birthed from the redemptive love He has for all people. Louan grew up in an abusive environment, but through Jesus she has been given a 2nd chance at life. She and her husband are ordained ministers and serve in their local church. They enjoy traveling in their free time.

 

 

 

 

 


September 9, 2017 @ 10:00 am

Join W.IN.G.S. for a bike ride at Moraine State Park’s paved bike trail on Saturday, September 9. We will meet at the trailhead near the Bike Rental on North Shore Drive at 10:00am. You may rent a bicycle or if you have your own, feel free to bring it. After the ride, we will be treated to breakfast at the home of Amy Struss.

You do not have to participate in the bike ride to attend the breakfast, but please let us know that you are coming!

Please RSVP by August 28 by filling our a form in the narthex or by email hzumcwings@gmail.com so we can plan accordingly for breakfast and have an estimate on the bikes needed. Come and join the fun!

This event is free, except for the bike rental fee (if you need to rent a bike.)
