Southwest Butler County Food Cupboard

Would you like the opportunity to work with the local faith community to provide a tangible service to needy families?

The SWBCFC was founded in 1983 by members of the Harmony-Zelienople Ministerium. Initially food was provided on an as-needed basis. As a regular client base developed, service expanded to a regularly scheduled monthly distribution attended by an average of 100 families in 2015.

Each family is provided with non-perishable groceries apportioned from locally donated food. In addition to the non-perishable groceries, each family receives a variety of frozen meats, breads and fresh produce dependent on donations for that month.

A wonderful volunteer staff has developed and each month a local church provides manpower for the organization and distribution of food.

It is a great opportunity to make a real difference in peoples lives!
